Position Summary:

The Department of Development & Alumni Engagement at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville is accepting applications for a Corporate Relations Coordinator who supports corporate and foundation engagement efforts by coordinating and implementing programs, events, and communications that advance institutional priorities. The role assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of corporate and foundation engagement and giving strategies, while serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This position also monitors engagement activities and metrics to support relationship development and inform strategic decision-making.  

This is a 12-month, full-time, benefit and paid leave eligible position, with a salary of $55,000 per year.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead coordination and implementation of the campus-wide Corporate Engagement Program.

  • Designs, delivers, and evaluates new and existing corporate and foundation relations events, programs, and communications materials.

  • Monitors site visits with internal and external corporate and foundation stakeholders to assist in multi-unit collaboration.

  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of corporate and foundation giving strategies.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement or new development.

  • Serves as a main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, answers questions, and provides information about established programs based on set material or standards.

  • Collects, analyzes, and monitors corporate and foundation relations metrics; compiles and disseminates information to appropriate stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 

  • Experience in program coordination, external relations, fundraising support, corporate engagement, event planning, or related work.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, events, and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience analyzing information, compiling reports, and using data to support program improvement or decision-making.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems or databases.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.
