As a Corporate Quality Analyst, you are exposed to the full cross-section of Plastipak's innovative manufacturing processes and technologies.  This is an excellent role to apply your research, problem-solving and relationship skills to ensure the highest level of quality for our customers and position you for continued career growth with Plastipak, a rigid plastics manufacturing leader. 

You Will:

  • Collaborate with R&D to evaluate developmental packages, recommend specifications, and conduct design reviews

  • Present insights from data, statistics, and measures relating to bottle performance

  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites to improve product quality by evaluating process capability and analyzing key process variables

  • Develop and monitor inspection and test plans for products, including testing package impact on food safety

  • Interact with customers to discuss quality concerns and other issues

  • Uphold our culture of quality awareness and improvement

You Have:

  • Bachelor Degree, with an area of study in Packaging Engineer, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred

  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience utilizing Lean Sigma tools in a manufacturing environment (inclusive of internship experience)

  • Solid data analytics skills

  • Demonstrated you are a proactive initiative-taker

  • Clear and concise communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50% to Plastipak sites across the US (home on the weekends)

Skills Required
