We are looking for a hands-on, curious, and driven Corporate Mechanical Engineer - Capital Projects who enjoys solving manufacturing engineering challenges, working with people, and bringing ideas to life.


What You Will Do

In this role, you will partner with engineering, operations, and plant teams to support high-impact manufacturing engineering and capital equipment projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and startup. You will help improve equipment performance, strengthen manufacturing processes, and contribute to projects that deliver measurable results.

You will:

· Support capital equipment projects, including specifications, RFPs, vendor bids, installation, commissioning, and startup

· Create CAD/SolidWorks drawings, layouts, and equipment design packages

· Help design and improve mechanical systems, tooling, fixtures, CNC-related processes, and manufacturing processes

· Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify practical improvement opportunities

· Support project charters, business cases, budgets, schedules, and ROI tracking

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and operations

· Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost

What You Will Bring

We are looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, a growth mindset, and the confidence to take ownership while continuing to learn.

Ideal qualifications include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

· 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment

· CAD/SolidWorks experience with drawings, layouts, tooling, fixtures, or equipment design packages

· Exposure to capital equipment, tooling, fabrication, CNC, automation, or mechanical system design

· Capital Equipment Leadership: Hands-on experience supporting or leading capital equipment projects, including equipment  

  specification, vendor selection, budget management, installation, commissioning, and startup

· Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills

· Interest in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement

· A self-starter mindset with a desire to grow, contribute, and make an impact

Skills Required
