We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Queretaro office.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze spending patterns, user profiles, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Conduct supplier research and manage Request for Information (RFI) processes to assess capabilities and market competitiveness.
- Develop evaluation criteria and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for low-impact categories.
- Lead supplier selection processes and negotiate terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Execute and monitor procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and corporate policies.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and timely delivery of contracted services.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders requiring indirect purchasing services.
- Track and report savings generated through procurement initiatives and continuous performance improvements.
- Maintain and update the supplier database, ensuring risk evaluations are completed as required.
- Define and monitor procurement KPIs and support team development through project participation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in indirect procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in contract management and supplier evaluation.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse inventory process is an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ministry regulations, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and shop management practices.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- English is a must, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
