A Day in Your Life at MKS
As a Corporate EHS Manager - EMEAI at MKS, you will partner with global and regional EHS teams, site leaders, and operational staff to develop, implement, and oversee environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple international locations. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate EH&S EMEA.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Leading the development and execution of EHS strategies for compliance across EMEAI locations.
- Supporting and mentoring site EHS personnel, ensuring consistent corporate policies.
- Driving safety audits, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Developing and delivering EHS training programs for operational teams.
- Collaborating with internal teams to implement corporate safety standards.
- Investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and refining processes.
Travel Requirements: Up to 30% travel across EMEAI locations.
Skills You Bring:
- BS Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
- NEBOSH International Certificate Desired
- 5 – 8 (+) years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety management.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
- Expertise in hazardous materials management, safety compliance, and audits.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Excellent written and verbal understanding of English
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, laser safety, and assembly environments.
- Familiarity with compressed gas handling and hazardous waste disposal.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Supervisory Scope:
- Opportunity for growth by developing a local EHS team member.
- Financial Responsibilities: Supporting compliance efforts and reporting.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Primarily based in Romania (Ilfov), with remote work options after probation.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and best practices.
