About Salmon

Salmon is a technology-driven financial services group, founded in July 2022 with the vision of building the best credit-led, technology-centric bank in Southeast Asia. We chose the Philippines as our first market and are now a licensed bank — Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc. — and a consumer-lending group.

Salmon was founded by three co-founders who built and held senior leadership positions at Tinkoff, a highly successful tech-enabled bank that reached a market capitalization of more than US$20B. We're backed by world-class investors including the International Finance Corporation (a member of the World Bank Group), Lunate (an investment vehicle affiliated with Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund), and other prominent technology investors from the US, Europe, and the Philippines.

About the role

  • You'll join Group Finance, working across fundraising, investor relations, financial modeling, and corporate development projects.

  • You'll operate at the center of how Salmon tells its financial story — to shareholders, prospective investors, and internal stakeholders.

  • This role matters because Salmon is scaling fast, and the quality of our financial modeling and reporting directly shapes the decisions investors and leadership make about our next stage of growth.

What you'll do

  • Support fundraising, corporate development, and ad-hoc projects, including corporate structuring, commercial partnerships, and M&A.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc business statistics and financial performance reports for shareholders, prospective investors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain financial models covering business forecasting, valuation, and unit economics analysis.

  • Conduct and maintain macro market research and competitor analysis.

  • Support and help oversee special projects as they arise.

What we need

  • A degree in Finance, Business Management, or Accounting.

  • At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity — or financial advisory at a professional services firm, or a similar capacity in a corporate environment.

  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical ability.

  • Ability to turn complex financial information into clear, effective PowerPoint presentations.

  • Solid grounding in finance and accounting principles.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with good judgment under ambiguity.

  • High precision and attention to detail.

  • Collaborative, with a strong appetite for growth and rigorous self-review.

  • Fluent in English.

Good to have

  • Experience working with or within a technology company.

  • Knowledge of SQL.

  • CFA designation or progress toward one.

  • Financial modeling certification or specialized training.

What we offer

You'll work at the center of Salmon's growth story, with direct visibility into how the business is funded, valued, and scaled. You'll be backed by a global team of finance and technology professionals and work alongside leadership on the decisions that shape Salmon's next stage. We follow a hybrid-first working arrangement.
