Brady Corporation is seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and collaborative Corporate Development Associate to join our growth engine. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of Brady Corporation. You report to our Director of Corporate Development and will work closely with our executive leadership team on evaluating strategic acquisitions for Brady, as well as supporting end-to-end M&A execution and corporate development initiatives across Brady’s portfolio of products.
This is a high-visibility role where your financial models, strategic insights, and market research will directly influence our long-term roadmap. You will identify and evaluate new opportunities, assist with due diligence, assist with divestitures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain complex, dynamic financial models to evaluate potential target companies and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with the process to identify and evaluate potential opportunities, which includes a rigorous idea generation and screening process that will bring quality acquisition and investment ideas to the executive team and board.
- Assist with target analysis and financial modeling to estimate revenue and profitability of merger or acquisition over a multi-year project period.
- Collaborate with peers across the globe on market research and analysis to help lead initiatives to drive business objectives.
- Deal Execution & Due Diligence: Manage the day-to-day due diligence process for active transactions. Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, HR, Product) and external advisors (investment banks, accounting firms).
- Market Intelligence & Pipeline Management: Research industry trends, track competitor landscape, and proactively identify attractive M&A target companies. Maintain and update our active M&A pipeline.
- Partner and align with business leaders before, during and after the M&A processes, to ensure the deals make strategic sense, enable forward-looking business/growth plans, and are integrated smoothly/effectively across the organization.
- Integration Planning: Assist in early-stage post-merger integration planning to ensure strategic alignment and synergy realization post-acquisition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing acquisition business case analyses and executing and interfacing with finance, legal, product, engineering, sales, IT, HR and other departments ensure seamless deal execution and integration investment and planning.
