What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
Intellectual Property Management
- Oversee the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Advise on IP strategy, protection, enforcement, and licensing.
- Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure proper registration, maintenance, and defense of IP assets.
- Review and draft IP-related agreements and clauses in commercial contracts.
Contract Review & Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor, client, confidentiality, licensing, partnership, and joint venture agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and minimize legal risk.
Governance & Compliance
- Support corporate governance, including board resolutions, entity filings, and compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures from a legal perspective.
General Corporate Legal Support
- Advise management and business units on legal issues related to operations, compliance, product safety, marketing, and governance.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts, including ADA, product safety, packaging, and chemical regulations.
- Assist with data privacy, employment law, litigation, and other general corporate matters as needed.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
