Position Overview
We're searching for a Corporate Counsel to join our legal team . This position will be hybrid out of our Chicago office. To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You'll Do

• Provide legal su pport for our global insurance carrier business unit , including sales, service and product teams
• Draft, review , and negotiate a wide variety of B2B SaaS agreements, including MSAs, professional services agreements , partnerships and data processing agreements
• Represent legal and compliance with product development activities
• I dentify compliance issues and engage with appropriate subject matter experts to resolve when necessary
• Manage disputes, litigation , and other matters
• Partner with the business to help achieve strategic goals by i dentify ing and implement ing process impr ovements a s well as opportunities for innovative delivery of legal support

We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience may include:

• 3-5 years of experience either at a law firm or enterprise SaaS software c ompany
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating B2B SaaS-related agreements with enterprise customers
• E xperience negotiating data privacy and artificial intelligence contractual terms

You may have other experience or credentials, including:

• • I nsurance industry
  • International operations
  • Employment law
  • Intellectual property
  • Payments

C redentials required:

• JD and any state bar admission in good standing

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $120,000 - $160,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities . Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission .
