Job Summary:
Illuminate USA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will be a key partner to our finance, procurement, and operations teams—providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring the company’s operations comply with applicable domestic and international laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple facets of the business, supporting growth while protecting the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel to internal stakeholders, including finance, procurement, and operations teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable domestic and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and deliver strategic advice to mitigate potential legal and business risks.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts with a meticulous attention to detail.
Advise on corporate governance matters, commercial transactions, and financing arrangements.
Support the review and management of international contracts and related legal matters.
Utilize strong negotiation skills to effectively resolve challenges and contract discrepancies.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
3–5 years of legal experience, with a strong background in contract law (supply chain, procurement, or sales contract experience preferred).
Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial transactions, and financing structures.
Experience working with international contracts and cross-border legal matters.
Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience in the renewable energy or manufacturing industry is a plus.
