This role will provide strategic as well as pragmatic Legal guidance and solutions to Edwards Israel, commercial and innovation center, its teams and functions.
How you will make an impact: 

  • Provide legal guidance as a legal subject matter expert including serving an advisory role to management to provide direction and guidance to teams to execute enterprise-level projects, initiatives and/or programs (e.g., legal research, recommendations on courses of action, contract review, drafting and negotiating agreements, review and interpretation of legislation, document review in litigation, and subject matter specific projects)

  • Plan and implement legal projects and activities with accountability for successful completion within scope of project deliverables

  • Provide direction and guidance to smaller project teams to execute tactical legal projects and/or initiatives

  • Identify and evaluate legal process improvement opportunities

  • Litigation: Assist attorneys in the conduct of litigation and internal discovery, Lead in the implementation of litigation holds, Respond to subpoenas

What you’ll need: 

  • Law Degree, Bar Admitted Attorney in Israel

  • Qualified to practice in Israel

  • 5-6 years of experience post‑qualification, significant experience in a corporate / in‑house legal environment

  • Experience advising commercial, R&D, and operational teams in a regulated industry (Medical Devices / life sciences preferred)

  • Expert understanding of related aspects of legal processes and/or systems

  • Ability to represent leadership on programs or org-specific strategic initiatives within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, legal team and leadership team

  • Ability to consult in program setting within multiple financial areas, deeper or more dedicated advisory role, interfacing with more senior management

  • Ability to provide leadership to outsourcing partners on a directive level, participates on medium scale RFP
