Corporate Attorney will provide legal counsel and advice to business partners on all aspects of commercial business transactions, including structure, key commercial terms and legal terms; answer questions and provide counsel on compliance; and provide training to business partners. This Attorney will serve as the primary legal partner to the E-Commerce, Marketing, Finance, and Store Operations business units, by providing pragmatic legal solutions and strategic business counsel.
Responsibilities- Responsible for structuring, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex agreements for various business units and identifying and assessing risks.
- Review and approve marketing materials, including emails, signage, and flyers.
- Candidate should be familiar with one or more of the following: contract negotiation, marketing/advertising principles and regulations, and state privacy laws.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment that requires strong business judgment and firm understanding of business units being supported.
- Interface with vendors and their counsel.
- Consult with internal clients to understand business needs.
- Knowledge of antitrust and the ability to train others on complex legal subjects.
- Juris Doctor degree with at least 3 years of legal experience at a law firm or in-house
- Experience in general contracting and negotiating
- Must be comfortable using the full Microsoft Office Suite
