We’re looking for a Corporate Applications Analyst to join our team in Bradford on 12-month fixed term contract. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of two days in the office and three days working remotely each week.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and developing their technical skills. As the first point of contact for application support, you'll play an important role in delivering a positive user experience, resolving issues, and keeping critical business systems running smoothly.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of applications, integrations, and business processes while working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development. We're looking for someone who is curious, approachable, and eager to learn. You don't need to have all the answers from day one. If you enjoy investigating issues, learning new systems, and providing excellent customer service, we'll give you the tools and opportunities to grow your skills and build your career.
What will you be doing?
- Act as the first point of contact for business application support, providing timely and effective assistance to users.
- Investigate application errors, access requests, workflow issues, and unexpected system behaviour.
- Apply a structured and logical approach to troubleshooting, identifying root causes and potential solutions.
- Use system information, error messages, and available logs to help diagnose and resolve issues.
- Deliver an exceptional user experience through clear, professional, and proactive communication.
- Partner with technical and application teams to resolve more complex issues and escalations.
- Develop an understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and system-to-system communications.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, investigations, resolutions, and escalations.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve processes, systems, and user experience.
We tend to look for people with:
Essential:
- Experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, Application Support, or Systems Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a logical, methodical approach.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Experience using ticketing, incident, or case management systems.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests.
- Confidence working with stakeholders and escalating issues when required.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.
Desirable
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate business applications.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Knowledge of procurement systems or procurement-related business processes.
- Experience interpreting error messages, logs, and system-generated alerts.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or service management best practices.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or workflow-based systems.
- Basic understanding of system-to-system integrations and application architecture.
What’s in it for you?
- Competitive salary
- 25 days annual leave + buy up to 5 days
- Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance, plus many more.
