Job Description

As Corporate Agreement Manager you will lead the formation and ongoing management of Corporate Agreements for a portfolio of select strategic customers within a specific industry. In collaboration with Sales, Departments, Contracts and Negotiations, Legal, and external customers, the Corporate Agreement Manager will lead the planning of a data-driven commercial strategy. This strategy will involve contracting, global discount strategy, and authorization processes. Rockwell Automation will accomplish these processes within a common set of global tools, following its procedures.

As Corporate Agreement Manager you will be the GRM Single Contact for a portfolio of select strategic customers within a specific industry. As the Single Contact, the Corporate Agreement Manager will lead the creation of a Customer's global discounts and commercial terms and incentives within a signed contract between Rockwell Automation and the Customer. The Corporate Agreement Manager can provide clear and direct guidance to Sales, Departments and Operations to ensure that customer-facing communications and operational activity are completed on time and without error. As Corporate Agreement Manager you will lead the global negotiation strategy by partnering with Departments and Senior Leadership. The Corporate Agreement Manager must be a efficient user and consumer of industry specific data from Business Systems to develop global discount models within established processes using the Corporate Agreement Toolset. A Corporate Agreement Manager global strategies to varying levels of Rockwell Automation and Customer Leadership. The manager must also be, using like leadership and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities:
  • You will lead the Corporate Agreement negotiation strategy. This strategy will involve the development of global discounts and incentives through collaboration with Sales, Department Leadership, Industry Directors, and Sr. Level Executives. The goal is to enhance the value of our commercial relationships within a defined set of standard tools.
  • You will maintain world-class level of negotiation and discount strategy through learning and development.
  • You will work with partners to communicate RA's differential value and market position to establish standardization with the expectation of strengthening strategic partnerships with industry-leading customers
  • You will rely upon industry specific customer segmented data to create global discount strategies.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or Finance required.
  • We desire an MBA.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Requires 8 years of related experience in direct customer contract and global discount negotiations and the use of data to develop customer specific commercial strategies within defined toolsets and procedures
  • 3 years in industrial automation industry
  • We require proficiency in Microsoft Products Suite.
  • We desire SAP System use experience.
  • We desire Project Management and Commercial Sales experience.
  • We desire Professional Pricing Society Certification.
