Job Summary
Process Month-end duties including preparation and completion of Journal Entries and Financial Reports. Support Year-end Audit by creating and updating schedules to support our financial results. Perform Account Reconciliations that substantiate the values on the Balance Sheet.Ensure processes produce correct GAAP accounting and have sufficient documentation for both the procedure and the purpose.

Corporate Accountant
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to join our Consolidation team. The ideal candidate will be supporting Consolidation team in managing the consolidation process for our group of companies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting . He/She will be involved in various improvements projects. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate closely with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Support in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for multiple entities within the group.
Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements
Coordinate with subsidiary regional controllers to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
Analyze financial results and variances for reporting pack.
Assist in handling audit queries
Adhoc work related to various improvements projects
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant
1-3 years of experience in Consolidation/Audit.
Strong understanding of accounting and consolidation principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
Working Knowledge ERP Systems of SAP, Oracle FCCS etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge and experience applying GAAP
- CPA, CGMA, or CMA certification
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Strong expertise in at least one area of GAAP
- SAP, AS400, and QAD system experience
- Relational database management system experience, such as Access or FoxPro
- International Financial Reporting Standards experience
