About this opportunity:
Ericsson On-Demand: Shaping the next telecommunications paradigm
We are transforming the telecommunications industry by delivering cloud-native Core Network services through innovative as-a-Service business models built on public cloud platforms. Through our strategic partnership with Google Cloud, we are breaking new ground-enabling Ericsson Core Network Services, starting with 5G DMC, to be deployed at hyperscaler scale.
Launched earlier in 2025, Ericsson On-Demand is rapidly evolving from incubation to commercial readiness and is now preparing for trials to meet growing market demand.
As part of this journey, we are evolving Ericsson Signaling Controller, including DEA (Diameter Edge Agent) and SEPP (Security Edge Protection Proxy) capabilities, into cloud-native SaaS offerings running on Google Cloud. Ericsson Signaling Controller plays a critical role in enabling secure roaming, signaling control, and interconnectivity across 4G and 5G networks, supporting communication between operators worldwide.
You will have the opportunity to shape how signaling services are designed, developed, and operated in a public cloud environment. By combining telecom expertise with cloud-native technologies, automation, and DevSecOps practices, you will help build the next generation of scalable, resilient, and secure signaling solutions for Ericsson customers.
We are looking for multiple individuals who are passionate about software engineering, cloud technologies, and telecommunications, and who want to drive the industry's transition towards SaaS-based network services.
Come and join us and lead the industry change!

  • Develop and enhance automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment frameworks to support SaaS operations
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability capabilities to ensure high service availability and performance
  • Collaborate with architects, product teams, and operations teams in a Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps environment
  • Continuously improve scalability, security, operational efficiency, and customer experience
  • Explore and apply new technologies and cloud-native best practices to accelerate innovation

The skills you bring:
  • Strong understanding of 4G and 5G Core Network architecture, signaling, and roaming concepts

  • Solid programming skills in Go and/or C/C++
  • Experience with cloud-native development using Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure automation
  • Understanding of network security concepts and secure inter-operator communications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning
