- Be a part of Cellular core implementation team.
- Perform service/system testing, data collection, and optimization as required
- Perform proactive monitoring of network elements’ KPI/ alarms and network performance analysis
- Handle and analyze trouble tickets and provide solutions when necessary
- Create and maintain network system documentation
- Operational task and requests handling
- Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis
Requirements
Complete familiarity with MNO/MVNO structure and flows, for Voice, SMS and Data scenarios.
Strong understanding of 3GPP standards across 2G/3G/4G and 5G including:
- Diameter/Radius
- MAP & Camel
- GTP / GTP-C
- SIP / IMS
- SMPP
Experience in analyzing network flows using raw data (traces/PCAP/etc.)
Understanding of roaming processes and procedures (IR.21, IREG / TADIG testing, familiarity with IPX operations).
Ability to design, scale and integrate a network element into a live network.
Hands-on experience in integration between network elements (SCTP, SIP trunk, SMPP connection)
Experience configuring and troubleshooting roaming interfaces (S6a, S10, S8, CAMEL, MAP).
At least 5 years of practical experience as a core engineer.
Working understanding of APIs and basic scripting (Python or similar).
Familiarity with automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Terraform or K8s
Knowledge of OpenShift system administration and cloud technologies (AWS, VMware) - an advantage.
Knowledge of IP switching and routing protocol - an advantage.
