FIGS is looking for a Copywriter to join the Brand Creative Marketing team. This candidate has a passion for storytelling  through words. This role will be responsible for continually developing and evolving a consistent FIGS’ brand voice across all copy deliverables for email, site, ads, out of home and film. The ideal candidate will be able to work dynamically with other members of the marketing team to see projects to completion and have excellent multi-tasking abilities, as well as the ability to think quickly on their feet. The role will report directly to the Creative Director.

What you’ll do:

  • Write compelling and on-brand copy for all marketing deliverables, campaign and launch assets
  • Develop main storytelling message and ensure  copy is aligned with the brand’s 100% awesome tone, voice, style, and personality within content deliverables. 
  • Leverage web analytics, customer insights, and user feedback to optimize copy content
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and/or other copywriters to continuously evolve the FIGS’ brand messaging, ensuring that any chances are applied across all channels 
  • Partner with designers, producers, and project managers to align copy with visuals and ensure deliverables achieve business objectives
  • Remain current of emerging industry innovations and best practices in e-commerce creative; share updates with team members as necessary
  • Audit website and key launch assets to ensure consistency across brand messaging. Review and edit copy on a daily basis for accuracy 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a degree in English, Communications or Journalism
  • 3+ years of copywriting experience in an agency, e-commerce or digital marketing industry
  • A background in copywriting, content production
  • Excellent storyteller with a sense of humor

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $73,000 and $105,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
