The Coordinator works closely with Operations leaders, Human Resources, and employees to anticipate staffing needs, resolve workforce issues, and maintain a positive employee experience. The position requires an active presence within supported business units and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

What will you do?

  • Manage daily workforce activities for assigned business units, including scheduling, time and attendance, payroll, and employee support, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Maintain an active presence across supported business units, building relationships with managers and employees, understanding operational needs, and proactively addressing workforce concerns.
  • Create and maintain employee schedules in accordance with staffing needs, employee availability, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), including managing shift coverage and staffing gaps.
  • Manage employee time and attendance, including worked hours, absences, clock exceptions, disputed hours, and attendance infractions. Ensure accurate records, timely corrections, and compliance with established policies.
  • Own payroll preparation and closeout for assigned business units, ensuring timekeeping exceptions, adjustments, coding, and approvals are resolved within established deadlines. Follow up with managers, reconcile discrepancies, escalate risks, and support additional groups as needed.

Partner with Learning & Development (L&D), communicate scheduling expectations through welcome letters, audit employee availability, and ensure necessary system access and tools are in place.
  • Manage employee time and attendance and policy compliance, including tracking attendance points, preparing disciplinary documentation, coordinating suspensions and terminations when warranted, and ensuring timely manager follow-up.
  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including status changes, terminations, reversals, leaves of absence, and time-off requests. Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, and Operations to ensure accurate documentation, approvals, and system updates.
  • Review workforce data and reporting to identify discrepancies, recurring issues, and potential impacts to payroll, scheduling, and compliance. Take corrective action and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Manage urgent employee and operational issues by gathering facts, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions. Escalate critical matters through established channels with clear context and actions taken.
  • Provide system and process training to employees and managers, reinforcing consistent application of workforce procedures and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce errors, and enhance the overall employee experience while maintaining accurate records and standard operating procedures.

  • Experience in a theater, arena, or similar high-volume operational environment, with knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and scheduling requirements preferred.
  • Confident, approachable, and collaborative, with the ability to maintain an active business presence, build relationships, and communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Sound judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, recognize when escalation is necessary, and manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities, high-volume interactions, and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Demonstrated integrity, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when handling confidential employee and business information.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
