The Compliance Coordinator supports Consigli's Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) and Workforce Compliance program and works closely with project teams, subcontractors, clients, community partners, and internal stakeholders to support supplier diversity, workforce outreach, and compliance initiatives. The position is responsible for monitoring compliance requirements, supporting outreach and engagement efforts, maintaining accurate reporting and documentation, and helping expand opportunities for diverse business enterprises and workforce participation programs. This role supports initiatives involving Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB), workforce participation programs, and other compliance-related requirements across public and private sector projects. 


Responsibilities / Essential Functions 
  • Support the administration and implementation of UBE, workforce compliance, and other compliance programs across public and private sector projects. 
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with contractual, client, local, state, and federal utilization and workforce participation requirements. 
  • Prepare and maintain MWBE, DBE, SDVOB, workforce, and related compliance reports for clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Track subcontractor utilization, workforce participation, and payment information to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with project requirements. 
  • Verify certification eligibility and maintain accurate records of certified diverse business enterprises and approved suppliers. 
  • Conduct and document Good Faith Efforts (GFE) and related compliance activities. 
  • Coordinate with project teams, Procurement, Preconstruction, and subcontractors to support compliance goals and increase participation by certified diverse firms. 
  • Assist with subcontractor outreach, bidder engagement, and documentation of GFE activities. 
  • Maintain outreach records, compliance documentation, utilization reports, workforce data, and supporting records. 
  • Coordinate and participate in outreach events, workforce development initiatives, industry forums, and stakeholder meetings. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, workforce development agencies, certification entities, educational institutions, and advocacy groups. 
  • Provide administrative support for compliance programs, including meeting coordination, recordkeeping, and stakeholder communications. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in UBE compliance, workforce compliance, subcontractor engagement, workforce development, procurement, construction administration, or a related field. 
  • Familiarity with public-sector projects and UBE and workforce compliance requirements. 
  • Knowledge of MWBE, DBE, SDVOB, workforce participation programs, or similar compliance initiatives. 
  • Experience working in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure industry preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
  • Experience with compliance-related software such as Textura, LCPtracker, or similar systems preferred.  

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in UBE compliance, workforce compliance, subcontractor and workforce engagement, procurement, construction administration, or a related field
  • Experience working in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure industry

  • Knowledge of MWBE, DBE, SDVOB, and workforce participation programs
