The Role
Manage transshipment planning and execution: prepare/send plans and feeder bookings, optimize routings, monitor container connections, ensure special cargo documentation and approvals, create SAP-MM/FIS workorders, liaise with vendors/feeder companies, and meet KPIs and vendor billing targets.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send transshipment planning to terminal operator/port agent

  • Check illogical routing and arrange transshipment cargo in the most cost-effective way

  • Update container on-carriage/ vessel connection and schedule in FIS

  • Furnish special cargo application to Regional Cargo Control and ensure approval is granted before acceptance/ loading of special cargo onboard

  • Ensure all special (Dangerous, Reefer, and OOG) cargo are supported by special cargo list, DG documents, etc.to terminal operator/port agent/vendor/partner

  • Close tracing / monitoring / planning high quality transshipment connection

  • Comply with/achieve the flowshare of tender result provided by procurement

  • Prepare and send feeder booking to vendor

  • Timely provision of loading list to complete export feeder vessel balancing

  • Handle cargo advancement to improve transshipment dwell time, meet KPI and avoid extra operations costs

  • Monitor connection status of transshipment box until getting loaded on the 2nd leg

  • Attend cargo closing and liaise with Feeder Company to settle if required

  • Create and prepare work-orders in both SAP-MM and FIS

  • Meet W/O creation/aging target

  • Issue and finalize monthly workorder statement with vendor

Qualifications
  • Diploma with 4 years relevant working experience and/or shipping background

  • Good spoken and written English (CET- 4)

  • Good teamwork and can work under pressure

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn

  • Able to work independently
