What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health
Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.
Talent Acquisition attracts, identifies and acquires skilled labor to support business needs and develops strategies for growing the organization's talent pool. This family evaluates and screens talent using skills assessments, testing and reference checking, and manages internal and external job advertising and posting. This family also manages relationships with third party recruiting agencies, prospects talent at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions and manages new employee induction.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience, preferred
Source qualified candidates using ERP/ATS (e.g., Workday), internal databases, and external sourcing channels.
Serve as back up to post and manage job advertisements on local and online job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, JobStreet, Indeed).
Conduct resume screening and initial paper/phone screening based on role requirements and perform initial candidate vetting (experience alignment, availability, basic qualifications).
Act as back‑up Initial Interviewer when required.
Provide sourcing support and act as back‑up Sourcing Specialist during peak hiring or absences.

Recruitment Logistics & Coordination
Schedule and coordinate phone, virtual, and onsite interviews with candidates and interviewers when required.

Update recruitment trackers and dashboards regularly.
