Job Title: Coordinator, Strategy & Growth
A little bit about our team:
The Warner Chappell Global Strategy & Growth team is a team focused on delivering and implementing business objectives. Working closely with our global leaders, we are responsible for driving and embedding our global business strategy.
Your role:
As the Strategy & Growth Coordinator, you will provide critical project coordination, administrative rigor, and operational support to ensure high-priority strategic initiatives run smoothly across Warner Chappell Music (WCM). Reporting directly to the S&G Sr. Manager, you will serve as the organizational foundation for our global team – tracking deliverables, coordinating cross-functional communications, maintaining project platforms, and helping modernize business workflows.
This is an ideal role for a proactive, highly organized professional who excels at detail management, enjoys building order out of fast-moving initiatives, and wants hands-on exposure to strategy, technology rollouts, and business operations in the music publishing industry.
Here you’ll get to:
Project Management & Tracking Support
- Maintain and update project trackers, roadmaps, and centralized databases (e.g., Airtable, project boards) to ensure all milestones, task owners, and deadlines are current.
- Follow up on action items across cross-functional workstreams, helping identify bottlenecks early and keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Support intake and triage workflows for team requests, ensuring proper documentation, categorization, and routing.
Operational & Administrative Enablement
- Schedule and coordinate cross-functional global syncs, capturing meeting minutes, key takeaways, and action item follow-ups.
- Assist with change management and user adoption efforts for internal tools, systems, and platforms (e.g., coordinating training sessions, managing invite lists, and gathering user feedback).
Executive Presentation & Reporting Assistance
- Partner with the Sr. Manager to draft, format, and polish slide decks, one-pagers, and visual resources for executive presentations and cross-departmental reviews.
- Gather, clean, and organize qualitative and quantitative data from internal teams and operational systems to support reporting and analysis.
- Serve as a reliable, responsive point of contact for internal stakeholders across regions and departments.
About you:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, administrative support, or a related role (music or entertainment industry experience is a plus).
- Highly detail-oriented and structured, with a proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks, timelines, and priorities without missing a beat.
- Clear, professional, and confident written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficiency with modern collaboration and project management platforms (e.g., Airtable, Monday.com) in addition to Google Suite.
- Familiarity with or curiosity about leveraging modern AI productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to streamline everyday workflows.
- Mindset & Approach:
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments and comfortably brings order to ambiguity.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential strategic information.
- Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) (or Los Angeles, CA)
We’d love it if you also had:
- Ability to design high-quality decks and visual materials using presentation platforms, such as Canva or Google Slides.
- A proactive approach to integrating Generative AI (e.g., Gemini) into everyday work to support and streamline daily tasks and overall productivity.
