The Coordinator, Sourcing & Analytics will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of supplies and outside services across three wineries, as well as providing detailed analysis and insights to support the winery's operations and strategic decisions. This role requires a blend of supply chain management, data analysis, and strategic thinking to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of quality products.
This position will be based out of our Estate Tasting Room located at our Chimney Rock location, and will require to be onsite Monday through Friday.
Job Description
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in purchasing and sourcing activities
- Generate clear and concise reports to support informed decision-making by management
- Develop PowerPoint decks that visualize data findings, translating analytics into clear, impactful presentations for stakeholders
- Maintain dashboards and reports to track effectiveness of key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
Sourcing and Procurement:
- Input purchase requisitions and receive purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Conduct regular assessments of suppliers to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials without overstocking
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier agreements, and inventory levels
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal regulatory requirements and policies
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) is highly preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the wine or beverage industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent, relevant job experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish goals and complete projects
- Excellent facilitation and consulting skills are necessary to successfully perform this job
Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.00/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
