We’re seeking a dedicated Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Services Coordinator to join our team.  If you’re passionate about supporting individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency, this is the opportunity for you!


As a  ROSS Services Coordinator, you will work closely with individuals in the community—youth, adults, and seniors—providing essential services such as financial literacy education, health education, and employment support. Your goal is to empower residents with the tools and resources they need to achieve independence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct community outreach, recruitment, and enrollment for programs.
  • Assess client needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Provide financial literacy, health education, and employment support services.
  • Develop and lead workshops on-site and with community partners.
  • Track and document client progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other programs and agencies to expand services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Counseling or related field and 2 years relevant experience in coordination services for low income families, seniors and/or people with disabilities.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred for job related duties, including but not limited to communication and outreach.
  • Experience and knowledge with lesson planning and clerical/administrative tasks.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including lesson planning.
  • Knowledge of public benefits, social services, and community resources.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
