Position Overview:
Job Purpose:
The Product Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the product development lifecycle by coordinating activities between cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth execution of product initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in planning and tracking product development schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
- Print tracking labels per order request.
- Assemble cut goods, and complete trim packages for Cut Kit Creation.
- Create Cutting and Trim Picking Schedules
- Monitor and control raw material inventory at operational stock levels, performing regular counts, generating requisitions for additional supplies and clearing out obsolete raw materials
- Track inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies showcased in monthly reports
- Coordinate with warehouse to replenish stock as needed
- Manage shipping and receiving activities and cross-reference receipts and packing slips to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Sort and distribute incoming shipments efficiently, and label raw materials
- Coordinate and monitor all departmental CAPEX and OPEX activities
- Track budget allocations, approvals, and expenditures to ensure compliance with company policies
- Prepare reports and updates for management on spending progress and variances
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Follow up on purchase orders, contracts, and invoices to confirm estimated time of arrival (ETA) commitments are met
Let's Talk About You:
- 1–3 years in product coordination, project management, or a related role
- Familiarity with product development processes and tools
- Previous experience in apparel manufacturing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace and NiceLabel
- Knowledge of product construction is an asset
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate Auto Cutter machine (Training will be provided)
