The Coordinator, Officiating Administration plays a key role in supporting the operations, planning, and administrative functions of the NFL Officiating department. This position helps ensure the efficient execution of day-to-day activities, coordination of officiating programs and events, management of departmental processes, and delivery of a best-in-class experience for the NFL. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Officiating lead for Game Day Assistants (including but not limited to working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective launch, general operations, training and development), ensuring HR and security protocols are met
  • Support club and league responsibilities and logistical operations for domestic and International Series game(s)
  • Lead weekly internal and cross-departmental meetings during the season
  • Provide administrative and operational support to all stakeholders in the Officiating department, including credential management, officials’ hotel negotiations/logistics, officials’ tickets, etc.
  • Provide Game Day support within AMGC
  • Assists with communication and follow up with the NFLRA
  • Creates agendas and assists with note taking for various League meetings
  • Participates in Football Operations game and event duties as assigned by department, including travel to NFL games (preseason, regular season and postseason, International Series, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl), NFL combines and other development programs, college All Star games, NFL Draft, and in-season and offseason meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in administration, communications, or operations at the collegiate and/or professional sports level
  • A./B.S. required

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask efficiently, even in high-pressure environments
  • Highly developed verbal and written skills are necessary

  • Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is preferred

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week in the New York office.
  • Travel 25%

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Skills Required
