When We All Vote seeks a Coordinator of National Organizing. This position will be responsible for supporting the organizing staff, Culture of Democracy Collective partners, supporting digital organizing communities, managing our data collection, and supporting the development of training programs for our volunteers and partners. This is a temporary position ending November 30, 2024.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Support the National Organizing program on strategic planning and development of the organizing program.
  • Manage and support multiple projects related to developing and implementing programming for a diverse volunteer and partner audience.
  • Support the management of the associated digital communities and tools.
  • Assisting on all organizing programming, including data tracking, volunteer management, social media and email drafting, and external communications with volunteers. 
  • Aiding with coordination of virtual training and grassroots volunteer events, team operations, and research projects as needed. 
  • Take on additional responsibilities to support the function of the organizing team as needed.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ year of experience on an electoral, issue, or civic engagement campaign in an organizing role with experience managing volunteers and experience in digital organizing 
  • Experience collaborating across an organization and with external partners to develop and implement successful, mission-focused content
  • A passion and ability to work with diverse communities.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. 
  • Previous organizing, campaign, or non-profit volunteer experience is a plus.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The Washington, DC-based salary range for this position is $55,000.00 (will be adjusted for cost of labor for the incumbent's work location) annually, commensurate with experience. PROCESS TIMELINE

Candidates can expect the following hiring process and timeline (please note that this timeline may be subject to change):  

  • May 28 – June 7: First-Round Interviews: Introductory Call
  • June 11 - June 18  Second-Round Interviews: Leadership & Assessment 
  • June 24  - June 28: Final Interviews
  • Week of June 30: Hiring Decision announced
