Skydance is looking for a coordinator to join the corporate Legal team that supports all company divisions. The Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the General Counsel and the entire Legal team, including managing calendars, facilitating the execution of legal agreements, and file tracking and maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience providing administrative support in the entertainment industry or at a law firm, stellar organization skills, and an enthusiasm for starting their career in a fast-paced, collegial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the department Executives including heavy calendar management
  • Maintain and organize shared drives and electronic filing systems 
  • Handle regular distribution and facilitate execution of agreements 
  • Create and update project management lists
  • Prepare and process outside counsel bills, vendor bills, etc.
  • Compile documentation and submit monthly expense reports, as needed
  • Ad hoc projects and duties as required, such a filing, copying, expenses, preparing agendas/resolutions for meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • 1-2 years’ administrative experience, within Legal and/or Entertainment industries a plus
  • Highly proficient with MS Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and DocuSign 
  • Experience formatting, redacting, comparing, and editing PDFs utilizing Adobe Acrobat
  • Effective and efficient written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills; ability to interface with staff, other administrators, senior management, external contacts
  • Proven ability to manage and disseminate a high volume of information and material flowing through the department punctually, properly, and confidentially; high level of integrity and discretion is a must
  • Self-motivated and proactive; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently, and meet strict deadlines for completing tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with superior follow-through and follow-up
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

The hourly range for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is $24.00–27.00. The rate offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
