POSITION OVERVIEW
Keen on making a difference and being a key player in helping our organization make the mindset shifts required to support the business transformation and enable leaders at all levels to lead the way?
As Coordinator, Leadership Development, reporting to the Director, Culture and Leadership Development, you will support BDC in achieving its strategic objectives by activating culture enablers and delivering impactful leadership development programs and workshops.
Drawing on your experience in coordinating adult learning and development related projects and programs, you will contribute to the implementation and deployment of innovative leadership development interventions supporting our cultural evolution. You will also be called upon to interact with different internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Relying on your troubleshooting skills, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our in person and virtual programs and workshops run smoothly. Other responsibilities include managing the procurement process, promoting our training offering, managing the training calendar and budget, reserving training rooms, making catering requests, preparing training material, as well as collaborating closely with the Learning and Development team.
Since the Coordinator is the key contact for all questions and inquiries from our learners and their leaders, and that the learner experience is at the heart of everything the Culture and Leadership Development team does, excellent customer service skills are a must.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET

Using Workday Learning on a regular basis.

Completing monthly rendering of accounts using Excel spreadsheets.

Being physically present at the head office when in-person programs and workshops are delivered.

Managing relationships with our external service providers and different stakeholders.

Communicating and promoting our offering via online communities and our intranet (BDC Zone).

Providing exceptional customer service to our targeted audiences and their leaders.

Collaborating with the various HR expertise centers as well as HR business partners to create an integrated calendar of various events connected to the Talent Management Cycle.

Advising, supporting and informing the Culture and Leadership Development team of any risks that may affect the deployment of training.

Staying current with industry trends and best practices in learning technology and learning deployment strategies.

Supporting learning program curation efforts as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
-
Bachelor’s degree in administration or HR
-
A minimum of 3 years of experience in administration or HR support
-
Experience with Workday Learning (LMS), Concur (Travel and Expenses) and ServiceNow® (Procurement) an asset
-
Learning agility with new tools, applications and ways of working
-
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
-
Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams and Copilot)

Being rigorous and having great attention to detail

Multitasking and organizing workload in order to meet strict timelines and manage priorities efficiently

Taking initiative and being self-driven
-
Adopting a creative, innovative, open and customer focused mindset

Being fluent in English and French, written and orally
