The AP Coordinator works with the Supervisor in account analysis and problem solving. Will be responsible for peer reviews of AP entries and assisting teammates with questions in processing AP entries and closing cases. The role will be expected to work with generating new reports and monitoring said reports to provide decision making information to upper management. The role will require an individual who is detail oriented and able to work in a fast past ever changing environment. The position is responsible for providing direction and assistance to associates and management in all daily activities in accordance with established company guidelines. Compiles and provides support for daily organization of accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data, assist in analyzing financial information, and maintain record of liabilities, profit and loss.
Duties and Responsiblitilies:• Organize, audit, and monitor work product.• Establish schedules and methods for various accounting services and financial systems.• Ensure compliance with established policy and procedures.• Review and recommend process improvement opportunities.• Evaluate operations and activities of assigned responsibilities, recommend improvements and modifications.• Prepare journal entries and general ledger operations. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.• Perform reconciliations for balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.• Analyzes general ledger accounts for accuracy; analyzes accrual accounts to ensure proper accruals. Maintain correct general ledger balances for assigned accounts.• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of monthly financial statements. Support quarterly and year-end closings and preparation for annual audit.• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, updates, and strategic plans for assigned areas.• Conduct research, perform analysis and prepare financial reports as requested.• Assist on projects and other duties as assigned.• Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $26.54 - $39.81
