Job Overview
The Real Estate Operations Legal & Compliance Team is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Coordinator, Compliance & Risk to provide administrative and operational support to the Legal & Compliance Team. This role is primarily focused on managing compliance-related intake, tracking, documentation, and coordination of compliance initiatives emphasizing execution, follow-through, and process management.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Intake, Coordination & Tracking:
Serve as the primary administrator for designated email inboxes including monitoring, triaging, routing, and tracking incoming requests.
Log compliance-related requests and tasks into Asana (or similar tracking tools), ensuring accurate documentation, prioritization, and follow-up.
Coordinate with internal business teams to gather required information and documentation needed to respond to compliance inquiries.
Conflict of Interest & Vendor Compliance Support:
Maintain and review tracking spreadsheets to identify potential conflicts of interest among vendors and third parties; escalate any identified issues for further review and resolution.
Coordinate follow-up items and resolution documentation.
Reasonable Accommodation / Modification Request Support
Manage intake, tracking, and documentation of reasonable accommodation and reasonable modification requests.
Ensure requests are properly logged, acknowledged, and routed in accordance with established processes and timelines.
General Compliance & Legal Operations Support
Management of owner documentation folders and response to routine document requests, subject to periodic reassessment of scope.
Support compliance audits, reviews, and internal initiatives through accurate recordkeeping and coordination.
Assist with maintaining compliance trackers, templates, and administrative workflows.
Assist with tracking and maintaining signing authority and easement tracking and organization of related documentation.
Provide general administrative support to the Legal & Compliance Team as needed.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
2–4 years of experience in a paralegal, legal operations, compliance coordination, or administrative legal support role.
Experience managing shared inboxes, task trackers, and document management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or equivalent on-the-job experience supporting attorneys.
Prior experience in real estate, property management, financial services, or another regulated industry.
Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Asana) and standard document management platforms.
Exposure to compliance, privacy, or accommodation-related workflows.

Strong attention to detail and consistency in documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
Ability to follow defined processes and maintain organized tracking systems.
