The Role

Summary of Position

Join Lionsgate as a Coordinator on the Acquisition Strategy and Operations team, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting Lionsgate's acquisition and library management team. You'll be responsible for generating sales reports, evaluating/tracking renewals, monitoring key participation statements and payments, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth onboarding of acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the renewals process, assisting with the evaluation of expiring titles and negotiations with grantors
  • Create sales reports and presentations for key third-party partners to track performance
  • Track participation statements and payments for high-profile third-party partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with Servicing, Rights Management, and Sales teams to facilitate the onboarding process for acquisitions
  • Maintain project tracker for the Acquisition Strategy group, helping track deliverables and deadlines
  • Provide light administrative assistance, including managing calendars and scheduling meetings

Qualifications and Skills

  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong project management skills with excellent time management; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-pace environment Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills; outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience; prior experience working with media and entertainment companies is a plus
  • Bachelor degree with a strong academic track record; a business degree is an asset
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, maturity, professionalism, and a positive attitude
