THE ROLE: 

FloSports is looking for a Coordinating Producer to join our Live Production department. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly-technical live stream professional with a passion for providing quality live event coverage. This role will manage a team of producers working on a variety of sports productions, as well as manage budgeting, cost tracking, and production quality reviews for assigned sport verticals. Other responsibilities include handling announcer bookings/management and contract field producer recruitment, development, and 

troubleshooting. 

This role will report locally to our Austin, TX HQ and have the ability to travel up to 35% of the year and a commitment to availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of live event producers, conduct performance reviews, 1 on 1’s, and establish goals

  • Coordinate and manage entire production crews on events. This includes event directors, producers, on-air talent, editors, graphics designers, scoring system personnel and our internal support team

  • Mentor the production team on effective Run of Show planning and execution

  • Book announcers and coordinate their payroll processing for all verticals

  • Field any and all talent issues including performance and evaluation

  • Review and provide feedback on quality of live streams

  • Identify technical issues and assist in troubleshooting

  • Identify and create seasonal storylines

  • Ensure consistency in branding across streams

  • Align with content and marketing on strategies and executions

  • Manage and update event budgets

  • Manage and provide feedback on every stage of the production process from pre-production through the entire Live broadcast

  •  Oversight on production planning details, schedules, timelines, tech books and overall event documentation.

  • Escalate technology issues and production problems logically and efficiently across departments.

  • Take ownership of production quality and help to drive improvements while keeping to budgetary expectations.

  • Help to build and nurture working relationships with partners, vendors, contingent crew members and other event stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • 4+ years people management experience

  • 7+ Years proven experience producing events in a live streaming or broadcast environment

  • Familiarity with prosumer to broadcast caliber production tools

  • Familiarity with a variety of on-prem and cloud production graphics tools and sport data providers.

  • Familiarity working with Salesforce, Worksuite, Google Suite, Airbase is a plus

  • Ability to lead, execute and deliver in a fast-paced environment

  • Process driven and detail oriented

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
