Role summary:
For our workshop, we are looking for a Conventional Machine Operator PWB (M/F/T), who is familiar with various machining types and experienced with turning, milling, drilling and grinding. You're also skilled as a manual toolmaker and precision mechanic. You are responsible for manufacturing, modifying and repairing precision workpieces. You are able to carry out maintenance on the machines. You are knowledgeable in mechanics, mathematics, metal properties and reading drawings. You are able to draw sketches and apply machining techniques.
Your tasks:
- Preparing and setting up machines, changing cutting tools, preparing and setting up cutting tools
- Retrieving drawings, setting up machines and adjusting measuring tools
- Correcting the NC code on the CNC machines, writing simple programs, working out program optimizations
- Manufacturing sample parts, correcting dimensions and cutting parameters
- Processing, checking workpieces and settings
- Deburring parts
- Controlling and monitoring the organizational processes
- Eliminating machine malfunctions
- Carrying out maintenance, repair and service on the machines
Your profile:
- Vocational degree as an industrial mechanic, milling technician, CNC machine operator or equivalent.
- 2+ years machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Fluency written and spoken German.
- Flexibility, ability to work in a team and act responsibly, reliability.
