Tasks and Qualifications:What You'll Do: As our Controls Manager, you’ll be a linchpin in our operations. Your role will include:
Crafting and managing resource schedules for software design, development, and commissioning phases across various projects.
Allocating engineering resources while working closely with Controls Lead Engineers to match profiles, skills, and certifications to project needs.
Overseeing and tailoring controls task lists for optimal execution during project phases.
Coordinating with line managers to ensure engineers receive proper training, tooling, and certifications.
Communicating team rotations, readiness, and availability to project stakeholders.
Supporting project teams with technical alignment, senior-level approvals, and resource-related solutions.
You’ll also maintain expert oversight of Dematic’s key technologies and lead by example, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications We're Looking For: We’re seeking someone who has:
A degree in Controls, Automation, or Controls Software Engineering.
Significant experience in industrial automation projects with a focus on controls software.
A proven ability to plan resources and coordinate engineering teams effectively.
Knowledge of controls engineering phases, including design, emulation, and commissioning.
Familiarity with pallet and case conveyor technologies.
Skills in MS Project, JIRA, and other project management tools.
Proficiency in applying design standards such as the Machinery Directive.
Additionally, experience in functional safety, large-scale international projects, and matrix organizations is highly desirable.
