How you will make an impact:The objective of this role is to enhance the Controls and Compliance (C&C) model in GBS, by delivering groundbreaking support to the Shared Services Workstreams and internally to the Controls and Compliance team. The role will handle multiple geographical areas and time zones.This role will work closely with the GBS Global Process Owners, Project Teams, IT/Automation teams and Enabling teams in support of the company’s internal control execution and improvement.The role will be a member of the Global Controls & Compliance Leadership team and will have responsibilities in accordance with this.What you will do:Transitions:
- Be an active member of the cross-functional implementation team, attend on the regular project update calls and ensure that compliance related requirements are considered and delivered throughout the project. Raise any concerns to C&C Leadership team as needed.
- Monitor and report completion of compliance related activities during the transition, through the launch and during the hypercare period in line with C&C requirements listed in the relevant migration checklist.
- Keep the C&C migration checklist updated with any further requirements coming up during transitions or due to changes in regulatory requirements.
- Deliver GEMBA walks to review adherence to compliance requirements.
Control improvements (in co-operation with the Global C&C Leadership Team)
- Perform process walkthroughs to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support prioritization of control/process gap remediation identified through walkthroughs/ CAPA / spot checks/ audits and other sources.
- Suggest effective/efficient way of risk remediation to the WSs (e.g. IA utilization/automation, management oversight controls etc).
System/Tool implementations:
- Support the creation of C&C support model for WS process automation/tool implementation, to ensure that C&C requirements are fully met. Once implemented, adhere to it.
- Support the Workstreams in preparing the SOX questionnaire for their RPA submissions and work together with Internal Audit team in case of SOX implication.
- Find opportunities for IA utilization in our internal C&C activities and support implementation of them (e.g. data analytics for spot check sample selection etc.)
Education
- College/University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Finance
- At least 6 years of financial audit/internal controls/ shared services experience
- Must possess a high degree of accuracy in work; detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Good analytical, computer (Word and Excel), and organization skills.
- Ability to lead multiple projects and timelines
- Ability to work well with all levels in the organization
- Excellent written and verbal English proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills
