Controlling Manager | Based in Barcelona
Kantox runs on numbers that need to be right. As Controlling Manager, you will lead a team of two controllers and act as a key business partner to the CFOO, CCO, and CEO. You will own management accounting and forward-looking financial planning end to end: from P&L forecasting and cash flow modelling to commercial controlling and process digitalization.
You will work in tandem with our Accounting Manager, who leads financial accounting, balance sheet control, and actuals. Your focus is everything forward-looking and analytical.
What you will work on

- Preparing core input materials for the CFOO, CCO, and CEO for Board of Directors presentations and BNP Paribas Group interactions
Management Accounting & Financial Controlling

- Partnering with the Accounting Manager to translate balance sheet and cash data into predictive cash flow models, proactively flagging risks and bottlenecks
- Reviewing month-end P&L, revenue, cost of sales, and operational expenses, analysing variances vs. budget and translating actuals into actionable insights
- Overseeing monthly closing packages, BNP Paribas Group reporting, and regulatory filings to financial authorities including Banco de España and the FCA
Commercial Controlling & Business Partnership
- Driving revenue projections for budget cycles and rolling forecasts with sales leadership, alongside the definition of sales and CSM targets
- Partnering directly with the CCO to build business cases, evaluate organisational changes, simulate variable retribution schemes, and run stress tests
- Supervising the sales commission and bonus calculation process through to final approval
- Overseeing the revenue reporting package including waterfalls, commercial KPIs, and core SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, payback, eMRR, and cohort analyses
- Conducting deep-dive analyses into product and customer profitability
Process Optimisation & Digitalization
- Leading the continuous optimisation, automation, and digitalization of controlling workflows, moving from manual data gathering to streamlined reporting
- Collaborating with Tech and Product to implement automated data pipelines, integrate internal systems, and expand Power BI dashboards
- Refining financial policies, internal controls, and budget approval workflows
