RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Drive Financial Integrity & Balance Sheet Control:

  • Perform reconciliation and review of assigned Balance Sheet accounts, including trade accruals, rebates, and operational balances.
  • Ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Validate accruals and provisions linked to Commercial and Supply activities.
  • Support month-end close, ensuring alignment between P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Ensure consistency and transparency of Balance Sheet accounts across the affiliate.

Strengthen Commercial Governance:

  • Review and validate discounts, rebates, and promotional accruals
  • Ensure commercial activities are accurately recorded in SAP and aligned with approved conditions
  • Monitor proper cut-off and recognition of trade spend between P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Identify risks in promotional execution and escalate deviations
  • Support governance of trade spend and pricing execution processes

Support Supply Finance & Operations:

  • Support controlling activities related to manufacturing operations (2 plants), ensuring proper financial reflection in the Balance Sheet
  • Review selected Balance Sheet accounts related to Supply activities (inventory, provisions, accruals)
  • Act as a liaison with Supply Finance / Plant Controlling teams to ensure alignment between financial data and operational drivers
  • Provide independent review and challenge on key variances impacting the Balance Sheet

Ensure Internal Controls & Audit Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and corporate accounting policies
  • Support internal and external audits for the Mexican affiliate
  • Prepare documentation, respond to audit requests, and track action plans
  • Ensure consistency between commercial agreements, execution, and accounting treatment

MEASURE OF SUCCESS:

  • Accuracy and integrity of Balance Sheet accounts
  • Timely and reliable month-end close
  • Strong compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

  • 2–4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation.
  • Exposure to Trade Spend / commercial finance (preferred).
  • SAP knowledge required.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related.
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking approach.
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Bachelors or master’s qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration.
  • Language: Spanish. English is a must have.

Skills Required
