In this role, you will lead financial management, reporting, compliance, and accounting operations for Seemann Composites, LLC. You will ensure GAAP‑compliant reporting, strong internal controls, government contract compliance, and alignment with corporate governance standards. You will partner closely with executive leadership and Corporate Finance to support operational performance, financial transparency, scalable growth, and adherence to federal contractor requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, corporate reporting standards, and public company requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) internal controls, including documentation, testing, remediation, and monitoring.
  • Maintains compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and government contracting requirements.
  • Supports Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits, incurred cost submissions, forward pricing rate proposals, and audit inquiries.
  • Leads budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning aligned with operational and corporate objectives.
  • Monitors financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provides variance analysis and actionable insights.
  • Establishes strong internal controls, identifies financial and regulatory risks, and implements mitigation strategies.
  • Provides leadership to accounting and finance functions and partners with cross‑functional teams to support operational execution and compliance.
  • Oversees cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
  • Provides financial insights supporting executive decision‑making, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred; Master of Business Administration (MBA) desirable.
  • Ten or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience including leadership responsibility.
  • Experience in GAAP reporting, SOX compliance, and federal contractor accounting.
  • Experience with DCAA audits, CAS compliance, FAR/DFARS regulations, or similar government contracting frameworks.
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industry experience.
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting acquisition integration, corporate reporting alignment, or financial system harmonization.

This position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.
