We are seeking a Financial Controller to join one of the leading art/entertainment companies. As the Controller, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the accounting and financial operations of the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, provide strategic insights, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance and accounting functions of the company, including the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial guidance to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial viability of new initiatives, product launches, and potential business opportunities.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting insights to senior management.
- Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Continuously assess and improve financial systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Controller/Accounting Manager
- Art/Entertainment experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and familiarity with industry-specific tools.
