Purpose of the RoleThe Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of MCC, PCC, and control panels. The role involves ensuring design quality, adherence to standards, and timely delivery while guiding a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities· Lead design of MCC, PCC, and control panels as per project requirements
· Review electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOMs
· Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE standards
· Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams
· Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
· Interact with clients for design approvals and clarifications
· Drive cost optimization and design standardization
· Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Key Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills· Strong knowledge of MCC, PCC, and control panel design
· Expertise in schematics and power distribution systems
· Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN
· Knowledge of protection systems and switchgear
· Familiarity with IEC / IS standards

Educational QualificationBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience8–12 years in panel design, with at least 3 years in a lead role
Skills Required
- Experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-400)
- Ability to design PLC architecture including communication protocols
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in E-Plan
- Good panel building and wiring skills
- Knowledge of switchgear components used in control panels
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical, electronics, and computer engineering
- BE (EEE) or Diploma in EEE
- At least 8 years relevant experience in similar role (total experience 8-10 years)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with customers
- Ability to train and mentor subordinate team members
