Job Purpose
Collaborates with the Contracts Manager in preparing contractual terms for a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with
internal processes and minimizing risks. Assists in developing tender documents and coordinating bid evaluations. Conducts thorough
contractual risk assessments, prepares necessary qualifications, and secures internal approvals to facilitate timely and compliant contract
finalization. Contributes to maintaining contract integrity, aligning with organizational objectives, and minimizing legal and financial risks.
Responsibilities & Duties
Safety & Compliance Duties
• Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with the
Company’s QHSSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the ADES

Role Duties
Operational contract management
• Support the contracts manager in the execution of contracting processes, ensuring that all contracts comply with internal policies, industry
regulations, and client requirements.
• Monitors and tracks contract performance, ensuring timely fulfillment of contractual obligations and adherence to agreed terms.
• Assists in the implementation of contracting strategies that align with operational goals and risk mitigation plans.
Tender review and ITT coordination
• Supports the review of tender packages received from clients, ensuring that contractual terms and conditions align with ADES contracting
principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Assists in preparing exception lists based on internal department feedback and ensure proper documentation of contract deviations.
• Ensures proper distribution of instructions to bidders (ITT) documents to relevant departments and follow-up to ensure timely feedback.
Contract execution and compliance
• Facilitates the internal contract review process by coordinating with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure all necessary approvals
are obtained.
• Oversees contract execution procedures, ensuring proper documentation and archiving of signed contracts in compliance with internal
record-keeping policies.
• Monitors and reports on contract compliance, identifying potential deviations and implementing corrective measures.
Contract amendments and extensions
Process contract amendments and extensions, ensuring that modifications are accurately documented and aligned with contractual and
regulatory requirements.
• Works closely with internal departments to ensure that rate changes, duration extensions, and new terms are reviewed and approved
accordingly.
• Maintains detailed records of contract amendments and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
Post-Submission clarifications and issue resolution
• Supports the Contracts Manager by processing client feedback on submitted contracts and distributing it to relevant internal teams for review
and action.
• Ensures that contract clarifications, waivers, and revisions are properly documented and processed in compliance with company guidelines.
• Acts as a point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing operational support to ensure smooth contract execution.
Stakeholder coordination and communication
• Liaise with internal teams, including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of contract-related
processes.
• Communicates contract obligations and key terms to relevant departments to ensure proper adherence to contractual commitments.
• Assists in organizing meetings between stakeholders to resolve contract-related challenges and ensure alignment on operational objectives.
Contract risk monitoring and mitigation
• Identifies potential contractual risks and escalates issues to the contracts manager that require senior management intervention.
• Ensures that contract execution aligns with corporate risk management policies and mitigation plans.
• Maintains comprehensive contract tracking reports, highlighting risks, deadlines, and obligations.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering is a must.
• Min 5-8 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the oil and gas or drilling industry.
