About the RoleThe Contracts Manager role is a highly experienced and expert position responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating and executing sales contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Memorandums of Understanding. This role requires extensive experience and advanced knowledge in contract administration, with a focus on contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Contracts Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, achieve favorable contract outcomes, and maintain organized contract records.
In this role, you will oversee the analysis of solicitations by preparing summaries, completing compliance matrixes, and providing recommendations based on the evaluation of proposed terms and conditions, with a focus on identifying financial and business risks for each effort. You will oversee and lead complex contract negotiations, including the negotiation of contract terms and conditions, to achieve favorable outcomes for the company. Managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, you will ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will apply an advanced working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement environment, commercial contracting methods (FAR Part 12 and non-Gov), FAR/DFARS/Agency requirements, and contract management best practices. Maintaining accurate and organized contract records and documentation will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, and project management teams, to ensure that contract requirements are met. Providing in-depth analysis and interpretation of contract terms and conditions, you will stay informed about industry practices, techniques, and standards related to contract administration. You will regularly contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards within the organization and serve as an expert in the field of contract administration, driving excellence and innovation in the company's contracting processes.About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).

  • Typically 8+ years of related experience.

  • Experience overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, including negotiation, drafting, and execution.

  • Advanced application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

  • Full knowledge of industry practices.

  • Experience contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in contract administration, legal support, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management practices.

  • Experience with electronic signature platforms like DocuSign or Adobe Sign.

  • Ability to develop and implement contract management processes and workflows.

  • Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance.



Compensation:

Pay Range:

$115,682.00 - $159,062.75

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
