Position Summary

As Contracts Manager, you will be a strategic partner to Business Development, Site Operations, and Legal teams across US, EMEA and APAC. You’ll lead the negotiation and execution of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with Catalent’s commercial goals and legal standards while driving growth and customer satisfaction.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: Bridgewater, NJ

The Role
- Negotiate customer contracts in partnership with Business Development, Legal, and other functional leads to achieve timely deal closure and support business growth.
- Act as the lead on negotiations with customers on commercial contracting terms.
- Assess and mitigate contractual risks, recommending language that supports business objectives.
- Ensure contracts reflect company priorities and comply with legal and organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking of contract status and progress.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing customer experience.
- Liaise with internal and external legal counsel as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Background
- Strongly prefer at least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience negotiating contracts with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of commercial contract terms in both Europe and the US.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position in NJ is $122,000 – $160,000 Plus Bonus. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
