What you’ll do:
- Coordinate onboarding and manage the sourcing process for commercial and innovation technology suppliers across the MetroStar ecosystem, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs
- Lead the administration and monitoring of contract performance on major/complex federal government contracts and subcontracts
- Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between MetroStar, customers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to MetroStar policies and procedures
- You’ll establish and maintain strong vendor relationships while interacting with internal and external customers, leveraging expertise in communications, and multi-tasking
- Ensure contract compliance with federal regulations and ethical business practices by reviewing documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with terms, conditions, and other provisions
- You’ll develop, document, and maintain internal policies and best practices, and coordinate, review and update existing policies and procedures to adhere to changing regulatory and contractual requirements
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ability to obtain secret level security clearance
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in a business-related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, proposal preparation, and compliance supporting the full contracts lifecycle from pre-award to closeout
- Overall understanding of federal government contracting/subcontracting principles and concepts, including, but not limited to, solicitation of proposals, proposal analysis, purchase orders, award and administration of contracts, compliance reporting, and closeout procedures associated with cradle to grave procurement responsibilities
- Experience developing and leading the sourcing strategy for technology, hardware, software, and associated commercial IT services
- Experience reviewing and analyzing financial and contractual documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions
- Demonstrable experience soliciting, awarding, and managing software purchase orders and/or large commercial software support agreements
- Experience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, cost reimbursable, government-wide acquisition contracts, and IDIQs
- Robust analytical/critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail and research skills
