Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Contracts and Procurement Advisor to work with our client Main Roads WA, in Bunbury.
This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, working full time hours, based in the Main Roads Bunbury office for five days a week.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Preparation of procurement plans and contract documentation
- Management of contract tendering, evaluation and award process
- Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and procurement processes
- Provide support in delivery and development of projects
- Manage or support regional road projects and/or contracts or both
What you will bring to the team:
- Exposure to road design and construction
- Previous employment history in a government related organisation would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Sound skill, knowledge, and experience in contract management and procurement
- Expertise in research, analysis, and problem-solving
- Proficient in written communication and report writing
- Experienced in managing human, financial, and other resources within agreed allocations

GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract, GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
