Are you passionate about detail-oriented work and skilled in navigating the complexities of contract management? We are hiring a Contracts Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the contract lifecycle process from start to finish. This role will work closely with teams across the organization to ensure that contracts are negotiated, tracked, and executed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate has experience in contract administration within a SaaS or technology environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth setting. NOTE: This is a hybrid position, and several days each week will be required onsite at our Austin, Texas headquarters.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and administer a variety of contracts, including customer agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Negotiation Support: Assist with contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms, while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
- Document Control: Maintain organized records of all contracts, amendments, and related documents in the contract management system, ensuring accurate tracking and version control.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments to manage the contract lifecycle, address contract-related inquiries, and facilitate approvals.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and reduce contract cycle times.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on contract status, upcoming renewals, and other key metrics for management.
ABOUT YOU
- 2-5 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or a similar role, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification is a plus).
- Proficiency with contract management systems and MS Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proactive in identifying issues and offering solutions.
- Knowledge of contract law and familiarity with business, finance, and accounting terminology.
