Position Summary:

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for performing administrative tasks related to maintaining, renewing, and acquiring new state contractor licenses. This position also includes managing local contractor and business licenses, as well as local and state DOT prequalification's. Licenses for all entities within the PURIS family of companies will be managed. This position will also perform backup administrative duties regarding contract execution for the PURIS family of companies.  The Contracts Administrator will also assist with the Project Controls function of this department. The Contracts Administrator will maintain the high level of professionalism and customer service provided to both internal and external customers.

 

Essential Job Accountabilities:

  • Compiling and submitting license renewals
  • Research new license requirements and submissions
  • Backup other Contracts Administrators 
  • Responding to miscellaneous internal requests for assistance with Contracts.     

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year previous experience in contract and licensing administration
  • Construction experience a plus
  • Detail oriented 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change, take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
