Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate standard agreement terms and conditions.
  • Draft simple documents and letters.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks to support departmental projects.
  • Ensure all relevant data is accurately entered and maintained in Intuitive’s contract management database.
  • Collaborate with Contract Negotiation staff to update and organize form templates on the shared drive.
  • Maintain the Contract Administration filing system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and negotiate contractual provisions as needed.
  • Evaluate information, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate directly with customers.
  • Maintain the Contract Administration database.
  • Generate reports as required.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the Contracts Administration filing system.
  • Assist Contract Negotiators with drafting, deal processing, and other necessary support.
  • Draft simple agreements and letters.
  • Assist with maintenance of template forms.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of relevant business experience.
  • Organized and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract terms, conditions, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Knowledge of general contracting terms and language.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to negotiate terms, clarify contract details, and interact with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

This position may be filled at a different job level than listed here depending on
business need and/or on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills.
Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target compensation ranges are listed.
